Aber’s Towing & Crane Service was established in 1950 by Miles and Alene Aber. Miles was working at a local alignment shop when he decided to start his own business, Alene said. On August 5, 1950, he opened his own shop, Aber’s Wheel and Frame Alignment, located behind what is now the Surrey Inn.
